Knitting while walking, while talking, while reading a book, while watching a movie, while watching the landscape pass by in the train’s window. I've been knitting since I was a child: I learned from my mother, who learned from her mother, and so on. I live far from home now, but my hands still continue the well-known choreography: click, clack, click ~ knitting becomes a way to measure time, turn it into shapes. I try to encapsulate these stories into the objects I make: when you purchase an item, you'll receive a little booklet containing the journey from this object from the yarn to your hands.
I’m happy to take commissions for my existing patterns and designs in any color and texture ~ dm to discuss the details.
